For about 4 days now Eric's neutrophils have been at 0. They are usually that low for about ten days or so before they start to climb back up. That's the part of your white blood cells that fight infection so they have been keeping a close eye on him. On Saturday Eric's platelets were low so he received a transfusion of those. Monday Eric's red blood cells and platelets were low so he received more transfusions. For about 3-4 days now Eric has had an upset stomach. I wont go into too much detail. (he hasn't been nauseous but the minute he tries to eat it hasn't stayed down to well...among other things) This morning he had a fever so they took a chest x-ray and performed other tests to make sure that he didn't have a bug. Thankfully his tests have come back normal. They will continue to keep a close eye on him and giving him medication to keep him comfortable, happy, and able to keep food down. We just need to work on Eric taking at least two walks down the hall per day. Maybe when the discomfort from his stomach goes away he will feel more like getting up and out.

With being on the anemic side and being relaxed from pain meds Eric has been pretty sleepy. He says the time passes quickly at least.

Love notes are my favorite. We have been writing each other back and forth on the white boards in the hall.

More love from my wonderful neighbors. Our youth also wrote Eric letters which were really nice.
These are a couple of goods songs. The lyrics are true to our lives at the moment. The one by Jewel more for me and the Lynyrd Skynyrd on for Eric and I.
