He is home.

These first video and pictures are from our visit with Eric on Sunday morning.

Playing on our walk.

Tayvia having fun playing with her dad. This was the happiest I had seen Eric since being admitted.

We got wind on Sunday that Eric would be able to come home on Monday. yay! I arranged for my sister-in-law Marrie to watch miss Tayvia and Eric's sisters to do some cleaning at my house before Eric got home. (vacuuming and dusting need to be done when Eric isn't in the room or not home) Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all of you ladies!

All of Eric's stuff from his stay at the hospital.

I swear the hospital takes their sweet time to get everything together and ready for discharge. We didn't leave the hospital until one. We made a couple stops on the way home to get Eric's ears checked (they are pretty plugged with wax build up)and groceries for dinner. My mom was kind enough to grab Tayvia and bring her back home. I made Eric T-bone steak, asparagus, fried potatoes and cantaloupe...he has been eating like a king since coming home! So far making food for Eric hasn't been too bad. I was a little worried about following the low microbial diet steps but a few extra washing produce steps and such has been okay so far. You can go here to read exactly what Eric's special diet is all about.

We are lucky to have such a kind and caring ward!

Um, the only time Eric needs to wear his mask is outside if its windy, in large groups of people, and walking through the hospital. We did have to go back to the hospital on Tuesday for blood work. Eric's platelets were a little low and they needed to check to see if he needed a transfusion. Which he did so it was a longer visit to get those. Tayvia had fun staying home playing at the Holman's.

It has been pure bliss to have Eric home with us again!  We have been on a few walks and bike rides together!
