Patriotic festivities and consent to proceed

Today Eric and I went to the BMT clinic up at LDS hospital for his appointment to sign consent forms to do the stem cell rescue. First they took his vitals and drew some blood. Have I mentioned before that now that Eric has been done with chemo he prefers his blood drawn from his arm? I assume because its faster?!

Tayvia at the Murray parade.

Next we waited for a bit until the doctor we were meeting with and Greta (our coordinator) were ready to meet with us. We met with Dr. Julie Asch and she went over the schedule that we have for the next two weeks in detail. What medicines he will be given, how long things take etc She was very nice and helpful!

Looks like Friday morning Eric will start to get a shot in the morning everyday until Monday to build up his stem cells. So no staying overnight at the cabin after the rodeo like he hoped this Saturday.

Cousin Ellie and Tayvia playing in her little pool out back. Tayvia lasted long enough in there for this picture then was off to play in the mud....her fav. thing to do these days.
